Cross Stitch Saturday...

Some favourite cross stitch patterns that Ive come across on my travels (through cyber land) - mostly etsy and weheartit.

Nails.

I own 95 nail polishes. Is that crazy/stupid/not enough? :)

I love these 4 mini pastel shades from Primark - £2!

My Barry M collection - 24 polishes @ £3 each (roughly) = £72 :(

Absolutely love these polishes though - I'll never stop buying them!

 LOVE the different colours of H&M polishes - very unusual colours, very wearable though.

I much prefer their new bottles too - with the wider lids. 

For £3 each these are a bargain too :)

My collection - I store them in an IKEA clear plastic box at the moment - but Im considering putting them more on display - maybe along the picture rail up the stairs :)

My little bag of accessories too - consists of:

Body shop Satsuma lotion - I LOVE THIS!! its so creamy and yummy smelling. Perfect for little manicures :)

MAC nail files, Nails Inc file and buffer, Cuticle Sticks, Nail Polish Remover, Clippers, Metal file which I use for cleaning under the nails, Nail brush, Nail Glue, Cotton Pads :)

Tattoo Tuesday 05/03/13

This weeks Tattoo Tuesday will share the 'Swallow'.

I love this tattoo - and after googling it - I now know the several meanings for having it:

1 - One swallow was tattooed on a sailor who sailed 5,000 nautical miles. Two swallows meant 10,000 miles travelled. 

2 - Swallow with dagger in heart - Friend lost at sea.

3 - Bird on Hand or Neck - Jailbird.

4 - A sailor gets a set of swallows on his chest, The story goes if he or she drowns, the swallows come down and lift his soul to the heavens. 

I imagine these girls below dont have it for any of the above reasons - I think perhaps they just like the designs same as me :)

The Tenth Hole Southsea

The Tenth Hole is in Southsea, Portsmouth. - And it is BY FAR the best tea rooms you'll ever visit :)

I visited here last week with a friend, I had a fish finger sarnie, on the most incredible bread ever!! It was so yummy...

Then we both had a slice of cake from their amazing cake cabinet!! Just look at them!!

They also do high tea, salads, jackets, drinks and even give you a blanket and hot water bottle when its chilly :)

 Its right near the sea, has a putting green, and is open every day of the year! Pretty amazing i think youll agree!!

If you ever visit us down south...definitely visit the Tenth Hole.

YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!! :)

Today my little car failed his MOT...this is costing the earth. 

So when a girl gets this sort of news, what does she do?

I love Sleek Palettes so much - so affordable and the colour payoff is amazing. Such quality :)

I have repurchased this mascara so many times - I never buy high end mascaras, I just dont see the difference! This one is FAB - highly recommend to anyone who loves a big brush and a really dark black. 

I saw Alix at 'I Covet Thee' use this eyeliner in a tutorial - it looked amazing and I couldnt BELIEVE it was Collection!! It draws on so precisely - thick or thin. I love it and cant wait to use it everyday :)
